Strawberry and Banana Kombucha Recipe

Strawberry and banana, a traditional combination of fruit where you’re sure you can’t go wrong.

Adding these two ingredients to your kombucha will give a sweet burst of flavour for an extra health kick on top of the health benefits that come with drinking kombucha. A mixture of flavour in a drink both children and adults would enjoy. Also, a perfect booster to start off the day.

Strawberry and Banana Kombucha Recipe


  • 3/4 Cup of Kombucha (1 serving)
  • 1/2 Cup Fresh or Frozen Strawberries
  • 1/2 Cup Fresh or Frozen Banana


  1. Create an unflavoured standard kombucha using our recipe.
  2. Cut up strawberries and bananas into small portions for easier blending. If using frozen fruits, be sure to defrost. *
  3. Mix the strawberries and banana with the kombucha.
  4. Pour into a glass and enjoy.
  5. For a fizzy and less sweetened version, add the fruit for a second fermentation – leave to ferment depending on personal taste.
  6. Repeat process depending on number of servings (instructions are for 1 serving).

Option: To make this strawberry and banana kombucha a smoothie, leave fruits as frozen when blending and finish at Step 4.
