Watermelon and Cucumber Kombucha Recipe

This watermelon and cucumber kombucha recipe gives off extra added benefits with the already healthy traditional kombucha recipe.

Both main ingredients don’t hold strong flavours of their own, but together combined, its lightness gives us a refreshing taste of flavour with the kombucha. The use of watermelon also adds a subtle sweetness to the kombucha recipe itself.

Watermelon and Cucumber Kombucha Recipe


  • 1 Cup Watermelon
  • 1/2 Cup Cucumber
  • 16 oz (2 Cups) Kombucha
  • Mint Sprigs
  • 2 Tbsp Lime Juice (Recommended)
  • 1/2 Cup Soda Water (Optional)
  • Ice (Optional)


  1. Create unflavoured kombucha using our recipe.
  2. Cut up watermelon and cucumber into 1-inch cubes
  3. Place the cut up cubes of watermelon and cucumber in a bowl or container with the kombucha.
  4. Cover and refrigerate for a minimum of an hour.
  5. Seperate the kombucha and watermelon and cucumber cubes by straining.
  6. Blend the watermelon and cucumber cubes using a blender or food processor until it reaches a puree form.
  7. Combine with kombucha and stir.
    a. Add the 2 tablespoons of lime juice during this step.
    b. If using soda water, also add the 1/2 cup of soda water during this step of the process.
  8. Divide kombucha into glasses (serves 4) and finish off with garnishing it with mint sprigs.

Tip: For a colder mix, add ice cubes when serving.
